Continuous Improvement I ntern – Summer 2025

Join Us as a Continuous Improvement Intern!

As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will participate in

Process Improvement initiatives (waste reduction, Cycle time reductions), strive for continual improvement and focus on the process, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

About the Intern Program

• 12-week program with start dates on: May 12 or 19 or June 2

• 40 hours per week

• Must graduate between December 2025 - May 2027

Responsibilities

• Accept accountability for achieving goals and planning strategies

• Demonstrate initiative in self-directed learning resulting in the demonstration of key Lean concepts

• Mental and political flexibility to patiently overcome project obstacles in a professional and timely manner with the support of the CI Management team

• Practice Time Management skills to ensure on-time attendance and assignment completion while utilizing proactive communication skills to communicate any discrepancies to plan

• Successfully lead assigned Kaizen Events or Lean Projects with the support of a CI Champion

Minimum Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)

Desired Skills

• At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application

• Pursuriing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Communications or Operations Management

• Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)

• Previous applicable internships

• Self-starter

• High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)

Benefits and Compensation

We provide a competitive total rewards package which ensures job satisfaction both on and off the job.

The expected compensation hourly pay ranges for hires into our campus intern openings is $24 - $38/hour. The hourly pay rate is based on year in school and is non-negotiable.
