Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

Performs chemical and instrumental analysis on fuels, oils, and other lubricants using standard testing methods as prescribed by ASTM (testing standards). Conducts analyses on any new sample introduced. Prepares solutions or solvents for various tests, transfers samples from one area to another in the lab, and maintains workbooks and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as per SOP and TIP test procedures. Please note, there is a fuel/oil smell with these samples. This position operates in an industrial lab setting with research on automotive products.
