Boeing Quality is currently looking for an Associate or Experienced Quality Engineer to join their team in San Antonio, TX . These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
Job Description Summary:
Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides interpretation of complex requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities. Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Develops and implements corrective actions. Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under minimal direction.
Position Responsibilities:
Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System (QMS) requirements into all aspects of program processes and documentation
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements
Provides Quality interpretation of engineering requirements
Analysis of non-conformance trends and recommend corrective actions to address these non-conformances
Analysis of the effectiveness of corrective actions
Risk Assessment of products and designs using tools such as Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Performs benchmarking and analysis, including statistical analysis, to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must have ABET accredited bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
1+ years of experience root cause analysis and corrective action
1+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing and presenting findings; developing conclusions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience root cause analysis and corrective action
3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing and presenting findings; developing conclusions
1+ years of experience performing statistical analysis
1+ years of experience working with data visualization
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through diverse approaches
Experience with Engineering and Change Processes
Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
Experience in Microsoft suite of products
Experienced with MRB and shipside production support
Typical Education & Experience:
Associate (Level 2):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense

Level 2 Summary pay range: $57,960 - $107,640
Level 3 Summary pay range: $69,930 - $129,870
