What will you be doing?

The Warehouse Associate I is a key member of the warehouse team with key responsibilities centered around preparing our glass for distribution, safely operating our Order Picker to retrieve and put away glass on the racks and any other activities that support the warehouse operation to run effectively.

· Performs glass handling, cleaning, buffing, taping and recovery of damaged glass. Proactively inspects inventory for defects, scratches or other damage.

· Completes MHE Certification for the Order Picker and operates it in order to stock and pick inventory in the warehouse.

· Performs key basics to run the daily operations in warehouse management including building maintenance and cleaning.

· Performs basic inventory prep and bin maintenance inside of the warehouse.

Education and Experience

Must be at least 18 years of age

0-3 years’ experience warehouse or manufacturing

Required Qualifications

Physical requirements are inclusive, but not limited to, the following:

Ability to work from the warehouse location

Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions in warehouse and dock areas (seasonal heat and cold in environment that is not air conditioned), drive for an extended period of time, and repeatedly lift up to 35lbs and occasionally lift up to 50lbs

Associate must weigh under 300lbs in order to abide by safety standards when using the order picker equipment

Must be able to operate or have the ability to learn to operate an order picker for the entire duration of the shift.
