Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team and support our finance department. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a key role in assisting with various accounting and financial tasks within our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to gain experience in accounting and finance and grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliations

• Prepare and process journal entries for various transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of supporting schedules and reports

• Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for financial documents and records

• Assist with payroll processing, including data entry and verification of timekeeping records

• Provide support to other members of the finance team as needed

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic and collaborative work environment
