Deloitte C5ISR Systems Engineer PD Manager I in San Diego, California

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. The Systems Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex C5ISR systems and infrastructure solutions, spanning Information Operations (IO) and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. This position requires extensive technical expertise, a deep understanding of systems engineering principles, and the ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.

Work you'll do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements and provide technical recommendations and solutions.

  • Develop and maintain system architectures, including high-level and detailed design documentation

  • Conduct system integration, testing, and performance analysis to ensure optimal system functionality, scalability, and security

  • Perform advanced system troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve complex issues

  • Implement and configure advanced hardware, software, and network components.

  • Lead system deployments, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and provide guidance on their adoption

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery

Our core capabilities include: IT Operations Delivery & Management, Customer Experience Enhancement, Operations Transformation, transportation modernization, and Emerging Technology platforms such as drones and 5G networks.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field

  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on designing, integrating, and implementing complex C5ISR systems

  • Proven experience in leading and delivering large-scale systems engineering projects that align with the Government Systems Engineering Guidebook, applicable 5000 series instructions and defense sector Enterprise Architecture Guidance

  • In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best practices

  • Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

  • Active Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility

    Preferred:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline

  • Strong scripting an automation skills using languages such as Python, PowerShell or Bash

  • Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics and performance analysis tools

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex meteorological, IO or ISR system issues

  • Active TS/SCI Government Clearance

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
