Robert Half HR Coordinator in San Diego, California

Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Coordinator to support their human resources department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of managing a diverse range of HR tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.

  • Prepare and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews.

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.

  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining HR documents and databases.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Support special HR projects as assigned by the HR Manager.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR role or similar position.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS systems.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands.

  • Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
