Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in the non-profit industry based in San Diego, California. The role primarily involves meticulous auditing of equipment spread across the county, with a strong emphasis on clerical and excel skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive equipment audits across various locations in the county.

• Collaborate with IT for data confirmation and consolidation.

• Ensure accurate manual entries in Excel for all inventoried equipment.

• Assist in filling out forms for IT compilation and cross-referencing with sales sheets.

• Document all audit findings and inventory data in Excel.

• Support the staff equipment needs for social services programs when required for grants.

• Maintain a thorough record of all inventory audit activities for future reference. Requirements • Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• No previous work experience is required for this position.

• Prior experience in clerical duties is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Must have a working knowledge of annual physical inventory processes.

• Excellent organizational skills are essential.

• Strong attention to detail is necessary.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Understanding of non-profit industry is beneficial.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items occasionally.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be reliable and punctual.

• Ability to maintain an accurate record of inventory.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
