Job Description

This individual will be joining an org which supports the user experience and design of the clients flagship software application. The will report to the creative director and design manager and work cross functionally with several internal business units. On a day to day basis, the UI Technologist / Designer will be building UI prototypes using front end languages like Javascript, React, HTML and CSS. In addition, they need to be a strong UI designer who can create beautiful, balanced, pixel perfect designs that enhance the user experience of the app. In addition, this person will need to have animation skills, who can design micro interactions within the app, like how various screens load and transition and other user journeys within the app. This application recently had a complete re-design, and this person will help scale and enhance the product. There are AI components this designer can help with, such as how an AI assistant appears in the app. This person needs to be able to operate in a highly complex, fast pace and high pressure environment, with the ability to manage input and feedback from various business units.

Skills and Requirements

-3-5+ years of UI design experience and expertise with Figma

-Experience with UI animation within a software application

-3-5+ years of experience in front end development in HTML / CSS / Javascript / React

-Ability to develop UI prototypes from scratch

-Has a portfolio that exhibits an advanced understanding of design principals

-Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure environment supporting an enterprise software application -Experience with design libraries

-Coming from an enterprise technology company null
