Amazon Sr. Collaborations Risk Manager, Regulatory Intelligence Safety and Compliance (RISC) in San Diego, California

The Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) team is looking for a Sr. Collaborations Risk Manager to help simplify the compliance process for our Selling Partners. In this role, you will work with worldwide compliance, business, and tech teams to deliver a global strategy to improve the Seller Partner Experience.

You will be responsible for identifying and establishing collaborations with key third-party organizations that can provide valuable compliance and safety signals directly. This will involve conducting market research, evaluating potential associations, negotiating agreements, and managing the onboarding process for new organizations.

A critical aspect of this role is working closely with these third-party organizations to ingest compliance information on behalf of our Selling Partners, streamlining their compliance journey. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Science, Product, Engineering, and Tech, to integrate new data sources and models into our existing systems and processes.

Additionally, you will develop and execute communication strategies to inform Sellers about the improvements and benefits of the Collaborations program. This may involve creating educational materials, hosting webinars or events, and leveraging various communication channels to ensure effective outreach.

The Sr. Collaboration Risk Manager will use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements across our compliance operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to influence the roadmap and prioritize initiatives that enhance the Selling Partner Experience globally.

The successful candidate will: 1) build mechanisms to improve the Selling Partner Experience globally, 2) program manage tools to ingest compliance information on behalf of our Selling Partners, 3) work with Science, Product, Engineering and Tech to onboard new models into our program, 4) partner with cross-functional teams to influence our roadmap, and 5) work with third parties to onboard them into the Collaborations program.

Key job responsibilities

• Identifying the right third parties to engage and collaborate

•Developing the long-term strategy of the program

• Identifying and implementing scalable metrics to constantly track our progress.

• Auditing our existing products, while using your knowledge to enhance these checks and launch new enhancements to provide best in class compliance Selling Partner Experience.

• Partnering with product, tech, business and policy teams to help identify and create controls upfront to improve Selling Partner Experience.

• Communicating to customers the value-added benefits of this program

• Building playbooks so every team can interact with our mechanisms.

• Developing quantitative analysis to improve our processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of program/project management experience in technology focused business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in product safety or Business Development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
