Noblis Surface Ship Harvesting Project Analyst (Combat Systems) in San Diego, California

Responsibilities

  • The Surface Ship Combat Systems Project Analysis technician will support the Surface Ship harvesting events in support of the NAVSEA Surface Ship Readiness Directorate.

  • The Surface Ship Combat Systems Project Analysis technician will execute all duties and responsibilities as part of the harvesting team in the planning and execution of harvesting ship checks, harvesting events and shipments of harvested assets.

  • The Surface Ship Combat Systems Project Analysis technician will support the Harvesting Team in providing engineering oversight and technical expertise during harvesting events executed at each INACTSHIPS regional facility.

  • The Surface Ship Combat Systems Project Analysis technician will support the Harvesting Team in managing and maintaining the components listed in the Surface Ship Critical Spares Inventory as directed by NAVSEA and the Harvesting Team Lead.

  • The Surface Ship Combat Systems Project Analysis technician will support the development of cost savings and cost avoidance metrics related to the completion of each harvesting event for inclusion in NAVSEA required reports to OPNAV resource sponsors.

  • The Surface Ship Combat Systems Project Analysis technician will conduct ILS research efforts as required to identify Obsolescence and Long Lead Time Material (LLTM) issues related to each surface ship class during and upon completion of requested harvesting events.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree in a technical filed OR Associates Degree and 10 years OR a minimum of 10-12+ years of experience in lieu of degree”. HS diploma or equivalent and 12+ years experience with either Surface Ship Class Combat Systems/Navigation experience onboard surface ships.

  • 10-12+ years of documented technical knowledge and expertise in Combat Systems/Navigation systems and equipment.

  • 4-6 years of supervisory and managerial experience.

  • 4-6+ years experience communicating with senior naval officers and/or government civilian personnel.

  • 2-4+ years experience working with or at naval industrial activities or facilities.

  • 2-4+ years experience working with and directly supporting Navy government customers.

  • 2+ years experience with shipboard configuration (CDMDOA) and other Naval Supply System databases.

  • Employee must have an active Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

Desired Qualifications

  • Candidate must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

  • Candidate should have extensive experience and be well versed in all Microsoft Office Suite products.

  • Experience working with and providing written and verbal reports to senior navy and/or government officials is preferred, not required.

  • Prior naval service and experience onboard Surface Combatant and other ship classes is required.

  • Prior experience working onboard government facilities is preferred, not required.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Posted Salary Range

USD $61,600.00 - USD $107,800.00 /Yr.
