The Finance Program Management & Delivery Manager is a experienced program and project professional accountable to execute Finance Transformational Programs that support the growth and scale of Salesforce. This role is responsible for driving project deliverables and milestones, as well as closely partner with various business functions and Business Technology (BT) to build alignment on scope and approach, business requirements and processes, and optimized solutions that meets strategy initiatives and multi-year strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively plan, organize, and direct the completion of large, complex projects while managing risks and issues to minimize scope, budget, and schedule impacts

  • Effectively manage, motivate and hold accountable project leads and team members in a matrixed organization to execute on priorities

  • Proactively build strong, trusted working relationships with Finance functional leaders and Business Technology partners to drive alignment and optimize project operations

  • Collaborate globally to influence key stakeholders on project scope/vision, solutions, budget, and schedule

  • Facilitate weekly project team meetings to focus and accelerate project execution

  • Communicate project strategy, updates, escalation of risks/issues to multiple levels of management, including executive leadership teams across the organization.

  • Ability to identify issue root cause(s), develop business case justification, obtain stakeholder alignment; recommend prioritization of solutions

  • Leverage data insights to propose project execution strategy and measure results

  • Extensive experience in planning and executing on large transformation programs such as P2P (Procure to Pay), OTC (Order to Cash), R2R (Record to Report)

  • Self-starter with ability to work through ambiguity and thrives in fast-paced environments with demonstrated capability for meeting deadlines

  • Innovative thinker to solve complex business problems

  • High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) specifically being a great active listener and communicator, who can convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbal and in writing to various levels of leadership

  • Leading with influence and strong track record of business and technology partnerships

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Clouds and Tableau applications (reports and dashboards)

  • MBA in finance/operational excellence preferred

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Drives successful completion of projects, able to thrive in a team environment, build rapport and influence peers

  • 5+ years experience managing complex project management, preferably for large scale finance transformations

  • Solid command of project lifecycle and project management methodologies (e.g. PMI framework, agile/scrum)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

  • BA/BS in a relevant field (Finance, Operations Management and Systems Engineering is a plus) or equivalent skills
