Accenture Industry Solutions & Services Manager in San Francisco, California

Industry Solutions & Services Manager (Accenture LLP; San Francisco, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Industry Solutions & Services Manager in San Francisco, CA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Understand client challenges and articulate the value of transformation in terms of business outcomes.

  • Bring thought leadership on the most critical issues utilities face today and in the future.

  • Identify and present new technologies and innovative solutions to our clients.

  • Support career development, mentorship, and performance evaluation processes within Accenture.

  • Provide team members with direction and guidance.

  • Interact with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture, including leading business development efforts and advising on client offering solutions.

  • Integrate business data to discover new insights and enable evidence-based business decisions.


Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Working within Gas Operations;

  • Control Room Transformation Delivery;

  • Delivering operational technology transformation engagements, including Scada, GIS, or Historian;

  • Utilizing emerging technologies, including Blockchain, Analytics, or Cloud;

  • Working on the design and implementation of technology solutions and platforms for Utility operations;

  • Designing and implementing Smart Infrastructures to modernize the next generation grid and gas infrastructures, including smart meters and sensors; and

  • Working with a team of business and technical resources through all phases of a project life cycle, including business process design, requirements definition, architecture design, configuration, implementation, testing, change management, and organizational design.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Working with clients in the Utility industry, including transmission and distribution network operators; and

  • Working on Business Process Design, Operating Model, and Organization Design projects.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.

Pursuant to the California Transparency Bill, the offered wage for this role is $199,500.00 per year.
