Job Description Summary

Responsible for the delivery of all property activities for GE Vernova NNB, India including Sanand Industrial sites and other offices based out of India.

This includes:

Excellent exposure in Real Estate Strategy, Capital Project management and Integrated Facility Management along with general administrative activities, corporate policy implementation, Ex, budgeting, strategic planning.

Passionate advocate for EHS, CSR and Sustainability.

Provide an exceptional customer service experience by collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring right solution.

Job Description

Major Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be a champion of EHS and lead by example in making Sanand the safest place to work. Partner with EHS leader in reviewing site EHS matrix and drive a right culture around EHS. Ensure complete EHS regulatory compliance and an attitude of continuous improvement on EHS.

  • Drive and coordinate the execution of wing to wing with (SQDC)

  • Lead planning as functional expert/thought leader, while collaborating with business and functional leaders to develop roadmap for Real Estate and Facility Management strategies.

  • Develop the talent of team members and build a culture of continuous improvement driven by metrics, benchmarking, and best practices.

  • Standardization of Process & Service Level Agreement

  • Support all locations in Facilities Contract & Vendor Management

  • Lead IFM activities through contractor management to deliver required output.

  • Control, Organise, monitor all admin and facility activities as per plan, implement corrective action as necessary. Make recovery plan for delays, implement, andensure targets agreed are achieved.

  • Build a culture of Lean through contract workforce engagement, visual management, and waste elimination throughout the value chain.

  • Drive Nuclear Safety culture in admin and facility team. Partner with Local Nuclear Safety Leader to meet nuclear safety requirements for plant

  • Oversee & Guide local administration on Statutory Compliance Management & Employee Welfare activities.

  • Managing of all AMC, repair and maintenance of HVAC, Fire alarm and firefighting, electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Green belt upkeep and development.

  • Managing of Occupational health centre, tie up with local hospitals, ambulance upkeep.

  • Managing CCTV camera & recording with timely maintenance liaison with IT team

  • Transport management- Working with vendor for maintaining bus, car and air conditioner condition. Emphasize to keep Driver track record and safe driving practices.

  • Canteen management- knowledge of canteen operations in an industrial site

  • Strong knowledge in carbon footprint reduction, must have taken sustainability projects.

  • Security and Crisis management

  • Co-ordinating with Govt. agencies like local police, GIDC, etc.

  • Partner with plant team to facilitate festival events, engagement events and visits

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with diverse team members

  • Ability to develop credibility with employees, manager, and peers

  • High attention to detail and accuracy of every task and anticipate the future risks or challenges in advance

  • Integrity – accept and adhere to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, and actions when dealing with others

Statutory Compliance:

  • Arrange tests, prepare compliance reports and Coordinate with Factory Inspectorate, Explosive authorities, electrical licensing board etc to ensure statutory compliance.

Liaising:

  • Manage vendors & subcontractors.

  • Legal and Statutory (Liaising).

  • Proficient in maintaining effective relationships with GIDC, State Police, Local Village Panchayats, Talati and other State / Central Government Departments & Development Authorities

  • Liaison with nearby industries for support & coordination.

  • Taking care of statutory compliances at the factory, Fire license, weighbridge stamping and coordination with other authorities.

Commercial:

  • Budgetary & Control (to prepare annual & monthly administrative budget and Monitoring Budget find the variance and take control measure.

  • Good working knowledge of SAP operations.

  • Checking bills/vouchers of vendor & sub-contractors and making payments accordingly.

  • Proper documentation of bills and Vouchers.

  • MIS Reporting.

Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree (any stream), MBA Preferred

Professional Experience

  • 12- 15 years of experience in Facility Management Operations

  • At least 4-5 years working experience in an Industrial site.
