HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring aTemporary Security Account Managerfor a client location in Santa Clara. The account manager will support general operations Monday through Friday, from 0600 to 1400 hours but must be flexible to respond to emergency issues during non-business hours as well. This position offers a starting pay rate of $37/hr - with weekly pay.

This position is a Temporary Assignment with other possible opportunities within Sunstates.

The Security Account Manager will assume the following responsibilities for this location:

Security Operations:

  • Responsible for all Security contract services at the Santa Clara site.

  • Maintain schedule and staff.

  • Ensure staff in all positions are trained and maintain a level of qualification and are performing to standards.

  • Provide additional training as needed and annually update training.

  • Maintain site security operational procedures in accordance with client's security policies and procedures.

  • Perform daily/weekly walks of the building checking for safety, security or maintenance issues and opening up tickets for issues to be addressed by Security, Facilities, Janitorial or landlord building engineers.

  • Maintain all security logs, reporting, incidents, etc.

  • Maintain security and office key logs (building, offices, etc.)

  • Respond and manage security incidents and emergencies at the site, in coordination with real estate site lead.

  • Monitor all alarm activity on Security Access Control and Video System.

  • Coordinate with out of state Security Control Center (SCC) for after-hours alarms and proper response to issues.

  • Generate new hire, replacement, and travel badges as needed.

  • Assist with contractor badges; processing paperwork and ensuring documentation is complete before submitting to U.S. Badging for final approval and processing.

  • Maintain stock of security badging supplies and lobby materials.

  • Partner with US Security and Human Resources for exits and return of equipment.

  • Assist the Legal Department on receipt of legal documents, delivery and to maintain/update the tracking log.

  • Employee payroll.

  • Perform Secure Desk checks.

  • Maintain Lost & Found log.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Facilities Operations:

  • Coordinate new cube/office assignments and set up, and ergonomic equipment set up; Space Management and equipment tracking.

  • Coordinate Janitorial operations and regular project planning.

  • Partner with other teams for annual fire alarm drills.

  • Maintain and order building office supplies for printer stations on all floors.

  • Maintain recycling bins on the floors for batteries to ensure proper disposal.

Logistics Operations:

  • Responsible for ensuring inbound mail and deliveries are sorted and delivered and outboard shipment is processed and shipped, and records are maintained for incoming/outgoing shipments.

  • Manage inventory and supplies related to site shipping process.

Requirements:

  • Current CA Guard Card/ 40 hour Certificate

  • Must have prior security management experience

  • Must have Customer Service experience

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
