Sutter Health Radiology Technologist - Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California
Position Overview:
Working with and under the direction of the Imaging Services Supervisor and Radiologists to perform imaging procedures for the purpose of delivering quality healthcare to our patients.
• Performs specialized imaging services on patient based on department policy and procedures
• Selects appropriate equipment for specialized procedure
• Calculates and selects proper technical factors for procedure requested
• Consults with other related patient care team members as needed such as referring Clinician or Radiologist
• Positions patient properly in order to obtain requested image and according to physician specifications
• Performs diagnostic radiographic and possibly fluoroscopic procedures ac cording to department P&P’s.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiology equipment as normally acquired through experience.
Radiology Technologist I
Job Requirements:
Completion of an accredited School for Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT
Basic Life Support Certification - BLS
Certified Radiologic Technologist - CRT (upon hire)
Radiology Fluoroscopy - RHF (180 days)
Previous Radiology Technologist experience (preferred)

Job Requirements:
Current CA CRT certification
Current ARRT certification
Current American heart Association (AHA) CPR healthcare provider certificate
Current Venipuncture certificate (if performing CT and /or MRI)
Radiology Fluoroscopy - RHF (upon hire)
Current CA Mammography License (if performing mammography)
Must be proficient in two (2) different modalities (X-Ray, Mammography, CT Or MRI)
Must remain current with all CE and licensing requirements
Ability to perform imaging procedures with speed and accuracy
Requires a mature, flexible and willing attitude with the ability to learn a board range of tasks.
Preferred:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Radiology Technologist
Radiology Technologist III
Job Requirements:
Current CA CRT certification

Requires a mature, flexible and willing attitude with the ability to learn a broad range of tasks.
Preferred:
- Minimum of fine (5) Years relevant work experience.
