Collins Aerospace is seeking a Machine Operator I to join our Carbon Products Manufacturing Team in Santa Fe Springs California. You will operate CNC Lathes and Mills. You will run several machines at once. You will use basic hand measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges. You are a ready to thrive in a team environment.

This position works onsite 5 days per week at our Santa Fe Springs, California site

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate various CNC lathes and mills

• Operate multiple machines at one time

• Knowledge of how to change inserts/tooling out from machine

• Perform machine maintenance of changing tools and cleaning machines

• Measure with micrometers, calipers, and hand measurement techniques

• Interpret and fill out setup approval sheets and blueprints

  Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, and typically 2 years of relevant experience is required

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

• One year manufacturing experience

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a Machine Shop is preferred

• Experience with Mazak/Okuma/Mori Seiki equipment

The salary range for this role is $38,854.40 to $$52,561.60 . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
