Responsibilities

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies for all public and employee spaces and restrooms on The Ringling's expansive 66 acre property with a focus on guest experience.
• Completing additional tasks as identified or as instructed by supervisor. Drives custodial golf carts to deliver supplies, carry equipment, and remove trash/recycling.

As needed this role:

• Provides information to visitors and responds to questions.
• Performs custodial maintenance projects.
• Performs other duties and assists with special events as assigned.

Qualifications

• 9th grade education or higher
  • Please note the minimum age is 18 years due to the need to drive golf carts and other state-owned equipment.

Skills

• Relevant custodial or housekeeping knowledge/skills such as:
  • Vacuuming/Mopping
  • Dusting/Polishing
  • Cleaning windows and glass doors
  • Deep cleaning carpets
  • Stripping/Buffing a variety of floor surfaces
• Ability to:
  • Follow instructions and model professional behavior
  • Lift/carry up to 45 lbs. (5 gallon water bottles - typically once a day)
  • Work with chemicals
  • Climb/descend stairs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
