Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, LLC. IT Engineering (Various Position Levels) in Savannah, Georgia

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify requirements and develop/build new IT infrastructures and applications
  • Responsible for supporting and implementing next generation IT infrastructure technologies as like P-5G/Wifi6 and Containerization technologies
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux based system
  • Provide support for the operation and maintenance of IT systems
  • Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of IT infrastructure services
  • Demonstrate expertise in integrating and optimizing VMware vSphere for virtualization
  • Provide highly available and reliable IT services collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and implement scripts or automation methods to automate infrastructure processes
  • Continue to learn and apply relevant software development practices, tools, and technologies
  • Keep up to date with the latest trending technologies

  • Bachelor'sdegree in computer science, IT, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of network terminologies, protocol, and infrastructures
  • Expertise in Linux server administration and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated experience in providing support for cross-functional IT systems
  • Experience in Hypervisor and Virtualization solutions such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V and Docker container
  • Adequate understanding and experience in DB (Maria DB, Oracle, MSSQL, Tibero)
  • Proficiency in programing language such as Shell script, Python and SQL
  • Some familiarity with visualization tools like Grafana or Prometheus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with complex requirements

Travel Requirement

  • Domestic / International travel required.
