Your Job

This position is for a Process Integration Engineer who will be part of the PostFab organization participating in advance technology development and new customer introduction with strong focus on GF´s advanced SUMMIT technology. Reporting to the Dresden PostFab management, the primary responsibility of this position is to manage integration of advanced interconnect process flows, drive improvements to enhance yield and manufacturability of this flow, ensure smooth movement of prototypes and critical lots through the manufacturing line, and meet the customer’s needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • drive improvements in yield and manufacturability across an entire process flow

  • regularly interact directly with customers, providing technical guidance and reports

  • develop and implement technological enhancements to existing baseline flows to meet your customer’s' needs

  • drive new technologies to high volume manufacturability

  • interact with a number of Bump, Turnkey, Bump/Packaging OSATs and GF FAB teams to ensure on- time delivery of prototypes and new production mask sets as well as production volumes

    Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline; an advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) preferred

  • long lasting experience of semiconductor process engineering experience in multiple process modules and process integration is a plus

  • candidates should have a solid working knowledge of modern bump process integration, with well exposure to front end of line integration, exposure to technology transfer methods, external customer interactions and multiple- culture working environments would be very beneficial

  • additional technical experience in reliability engineering, defect reduction and yield enhancement would be a plus

  • in addition to technical proficiency, all candidates must have proven project management and peer leadership skills, as well as the interpersonal skills required to work in high-performance cross-functional teams

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required

  • You have strong interpersonal skills

  • Previous exposure to multi-cultural environments is a plus
