Pay: $45-$50k

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm- OT available. In Office-Scottsdale, AZ (101 and Pima)

Performance Expectations:

Detailed management and handling of all premium files, including online and manual file setup by client and plan year

• Ensuring that premiums are paid in a timely manner, revenues are received timely and providing detailed copies of all premium disbursements to an outside accounting firm

• Assist with a monthly invoice process for clients and obtain documentation of all premium funds received

• Maintain the premium process for late payments and follow up diligently on outstanding receivables

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies, controls and procedures and an orderly accounting filing system

• Assist with banking requirements, accounting software systems and other accounting functions, as required

• Other duties as assigned

Job Description:

The Premium Specialist will provide administrative support and coordination for maintaining aspects of our premium, commission, and revenue system and will serve as a tenured member of the accounting department.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Detailed management and handling of all premium files; including online and manual file setup by client and plan year

• Review backup statements for accuracy and disburse the funds among multiple accounts quickly and accurately

• Assist with the commission process for late payments and follow up diligently on outstanding receivables

• Assist Account Management with coordination and resolution of all premium issues

• Assist with reconciliation of Cornerstone Assurance Group (CAG) block of business

• Adhere to a documented system of accounting policies, controls and procedures and accounting filing system

• Assist Director of Premiums with initiating and processing bank wire and deposits

• Compile both electronic and manual files for each group

• Other projects and duties as assigned

• Assist with a monthly invoice process for clients and obtain documentation of all premium funds received

• Maintain the premium process for late payments and follow up diligently on outstanding receivables

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies, controls and procedures and an orderly accounting filing system

• Assist with banking requirements, accounting software systems and other accounting functions, as required
