DESCRIPTION OF WORK The incumbent will be accountable for overseeing the food preparation and service within a large-scale food establishment. Your duties include operating various kitchen equipment, reporting any issues to the food service supervisor, cleaning and sanitizing utensils and equipment, maintaining recipe files, weighing and labeling ingredients, preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring food quality, and baking desserts for special occasions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with 30-minute lunch. Varied work shifts and days with rotating weekends and holidays. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Desirable Preparation for Work:

Experience in cooking or quantity food preparation; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Completion of education related to foods, nutrition, dietetics, food service, or institutional management Possession of licenses or certifications Experience as a cook in a large volume food preparation operation Paid experience of food service operations experience for geriatric and/or physically ill patients/residents Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
