Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian and Food Service Operations Manager to support the nutrition and wellness programming at St. Joseph's Center in Scranton, PA

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides nutrition education & training support for 100 bed patient community

• Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all patients

• Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates

• Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis

• Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging

• Food Service Operator: responsible for financials and leadership over a small team

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable

• Ability to present information in one-on-one as well group format

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, professional journals, and governmental regulations

• Experience working with special diets and food allergies

• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends

• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract managed services experience desirable

• ServSafe® certified a plus

• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs
