About the Role

 

As a PE relationship manager, you will be responsible for managing 8-12 Private Equity relationships as it relates to increasing Workday's market share, functional adoption, customer satisfaction and awareness within their portfolio / holding companies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain 1:1 relationship (and working cadence) with defined PE Fund Operating Partners.

  • Operate as a point of scale for Workday to PE partners -- new initiatives, products, business development, etc.

  • Create and execute PE fund-specific Relationship and Portfolio Plans inclusive of strategic initiatives such as portfolio heatmaps & opportunity graphs, commercial & go-to-market rules of engagement, deployment and service programs, etc.

  • Work towards meeting (and exceeding) overlay quota within defined PE portfolios

  • Vet and Onboard additional strategic PE partners

  • Work with direct field sellers on prospecting & deal support for defined PE funds' portfolio companies

  • Lead internal Workday PE support team on new initiatives, content, internal evangelization / training, etc.

  • Communicate with Global Sales leadership on ongoing relationships and happenings with target funds

     

About You

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning or Analytics solutions in sales, pre-sales, or account management capacity

  • Experience in Financial Services, preferably Private Equity / Alternative Assets

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Experience selling, consulting, advising, working with C-Suite / executive level

  • Strategic, Creative Thinker & Problem Solver

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Salesforce CRM

  • Experience working directly with PE operators or PE-backed companies

  • Passion / interest in staying current on all things enterprise software and private equity
