Use your accounting acumen and management skills as an Accounting Manager! The Salvation Army - Seattle Social Services is looking for an Accounting Manager to be responsible for the management and oversight of daily accounting functions within the organization, as well as fiscal monitoring, associated reporting, review, and overhead allocations. The Accounting Manager will also provide direct supervision, management, and training to any Finance Administrative Assistants, Shelter Systems & Reporting Specialists, and AP/AR Specialists on the team. This position is full-time, exempt, and located in Seattle, Washington. Pay rate: $95,000/year Duties & Responsibilities Prepares annual budgets in coordination with Directors and Divisional Headquarter Finance Department. Responsible for all audit preparation and review coordination Review and consult with Director(s) on monthly financials. Using approved financials and most up to date draft information using Vivid reporting system Creates and updates Program budgets for Program Managers to operate their programs Compile and distribute monthly finance reports for Program Managers and provide consult and guidance in departmental budget Monitor and reconcile GL accounts monthly Responsible for site audits of inventory gift cards, and Vouchers. Approves accounts payable for all of Seattle Social Services Visit all sites under the purview of Seattle Social Services, as well as Divisional Headquarters Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance. 10+ years of experience in lieu of education. Minimum of 4 years' experience in the following fields: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Grants/Contract Management, Budgeting, Finance Administration, Invoicing, Billing, and Team Management. Experience supervising Accounts Payable & other accounting functions. Experience with billing Medicaid is a plus.
