Blue Origin LLC Avionics Harnessing Technician II (Weekend shift) in Seattle, Washington

As part of a small, hard-working, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for inspecting, fabricating, and testing harness assemblies for various spaceflight systems. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Responsibilities: Reviewing, editing, and following detailed work instructions for assembly tasks. Working with engineers to review design concepts, provide feedback for ease of assembly, support development tests, and contribute to process development. Fabricate high-quality wire harnesses. Perform quality inspections, and support engineering in troubleshooting quality issues. Record work performed using shop floor management software Practice 5S, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety minded. High level of attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment with multiple and rapidly changing priorities. Adhere to ESD and safety standards when applicable. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED. 2+ years' experience in aerospace avionics/harnessing or related fields. Ability to read/comprehend engineering drawings. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Certification in and/or knowledge of IPC standards IPC/WHMA-A-620-S and/or IPC J-STD-001 for assembly and inspection. 5+ years' experience in aerospace avionics/harnessing or related fields. Experience Hi-Pot testing and troubleshooting using various digital tools ESD process and controls experience. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Must be physically able to: Lift and carry 25 lbs.
