Job Details Job Location 0250--1660 S COLUMBIAN WY SEATTLE WA 98108 (h) - SEATTLE, WA Position Type Full Time   Description A-Team Solutions LLC is seeking a CRNA for a full-time position at a local government VA facility in Seattle, WA. Can be Travel or Local for 13-week contract with possible extension. Duties and Responsibilities: The qualified CRNA assigned to this contract will be responsible to provide a full range of anesthesia services for Surgery Services for the following surgical procedures: general surgery, urology, orthopedic, pulmonary, cardiology, vascular, ENT, ophthalmology, and podiatry according to standard, usual and acceptable or customary methods and techniques. (1) . Requests for emergency services may occur at any time (24 hours per day) or during Regular or Irregular Tours of Duty during the contract period. (2) The services to be performed by the Contractor shall be under the general direction of the Anesthesiologist and/or attending surgeon. The Anesthesiologist/and or attending surgeon, Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR), and Quality Assurance Program (QA) are responsible for monitoring contract compliance and for verifying that services called for under the contract attested to by the Contractor have been received. (3) Anesthesia administration will be documented on the Anesthesia Record. An electronic progress note will be entered after completion of the surgical case. The Anesthesia Record will then be scanned and attached to the electronic note. All patient encounters will be documented in the electronic medical record. b. The CRNA(s) shall sign in and out at the area designated by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). c. The Chief Anesthesiologist shall monitor performance through direct observation as well as observation of work results on an ongoing daily basis. d. The CRNA(s) shall be required to participate in the VAMC orientation procedures for newly assigned providers to include regulations specific to their professional specialty and hospital and VHA policy and procedures prior to providing direct patient care. The CRNA will be reimbursed for up to eight (8) hours of this training. e. The CRNA(s) shall adhere to Joint Commission Standards (http://www.jointcommission.org/). The CRNA(s) shall adhere to the established principles and ethics of the medical profession established by the American Medical Association (AMA). f. The CRNA(s) may be exposed to surroundings which involve moderate risks or discomfort which require special precautions, i.e., infectious diseases, verbal and physical abuse from the emotionally disturbed patient. g. The CRNA (s) may have personal contact with patients, family, visitors and other employees, including contract employees of various VA services. Contact with patients is for the purpose of medical care and information sharing as it relates to the medical care and special requirements. Contact with physicians and other ancillary services personnel are required for information sharing and consultation. Contact with visitors and family members are required for information sharing as it relates to a particular patient. h. Ages of patients served may vary greatly and include young (20s and 30s years of age); middle-aged (40s and 50s years of age); and older patients (60 and upwards). (2) Personnel assigned by the contractor to perform the services covered by this agreement shall be licensed/certified in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia to provide services.
