Insight Global Intermediate Product Designer in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

An employer is hiring Intermediate Product Designer in Seattle, WA -- this role will require two days onsite per week in downtown Seattle. You will partner with senior designers to support the design of the login page for our client's main website. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, presenter and story teller that can convey complex and vague ideas effectively. You will work alongside Product Managers, Senior Designers, and other technology teams to create a seamless design for the end user. You will use qualitative and/ or quantitative analytics and research to inform your design process and rationale. You will design and develop prototypes to iterate on solutions with the rest of the team, or to leverage in user interviews/usability tests. You will deliver user experiences that meet or beat success criteria, driving measurable results such as higher adoption, higher engagement, life time value, etc. You will leverage and contribute to our client's design system, in some cases crafting everything from component-level pixels to documentation for implementation and widespread usage. You will participate in Scrum ceremonies and represent the design team.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of experience designing end-to-end responsive web or mobile applications.

Experience using data to inform designs and doing UX research (e.g. qualitative and quantitative user testing, test plans, scripts, etc.).

Strong experience with Figma.

Experience creating UX artifacts (e.g. IA, wireframes, prototyping, etc.).

Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Experience with product review pages or User Generated Content (UGC).

Experience working for a retail and/or e-commerce company such as Nike, Nordstrom, REI, etc. null
