Contribute to Starbucks’ success by using your technical and supply chains skills to provide analytical support, project management, management reporting, and process improvement & automation to the final mile delivery space.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • ·Strong analytic capability with the ability to create robust and detailed modeling with minimal guidance. Accesses creative information sources to gather data

  • ·Provide ad-hoc analytics to support decision making

  • ·Build dashboards and data products that tell a story and provide actionable information to a broad audience

  • ·Develop project plans that define scope, schedule, budget, and business impact and risks. Execute plans and identify issues or obstacles, gain alignment and bring to resolution

  • ·Communicate recommendations to cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic discussions. Assist in creating and developing structured presentations that detail project scope, analyses, and recommendations.

  • ·Lead the design and implementation of distribution processes and foundational distribution systems that improve service or efficiency and reduce costs. Lead the design of distribution operational models that drive business decisions for improving the operation.

  • ·Assess the financial and operational impact of systems and initiatives using problem-solving and alternative analysis methodologies. Provide critical information required to make effective decisions and recommendations.

  • ·Support implementation of common processes across Starbuck’s distribution network. Ensure that they improve service, gain efficiencies, improve quality, increase capacity, and are cost-effective.

  • ·Lead productivity benchmarking and score-carding for 3PLs and donation sites

  • ·Promotes a successful attitude, confidence with leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results

We’d love to hear from people with:

Required Qualifications

  • oIntermediate SQL

  • oData cleansing and transformation tools; e.g., Alteryx, Python

  • oIntermediate Excel

  • oProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • oData visualization tools; e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI

  • oFinancial and statistical understanding

  • oExperience with Enterprise Oracle systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • oAdvanced SQL

  • oScripting languages for automation (Python, VBA)

  • oExperience automating manual tasks and workflows

  • oQSR, casual dining, and/or fast-casual distribution, logistics, last-mile delivery

  • oAdvanced Excel

  • oSystems design & architecture

  • oData modeling and process mapping experience
