To ensure compliance with President Biden’s September 9, 2021 executive order, Boeing is implementing a new requirement for U.S.-based employees to either show proof of being fully vaccinated from COVID-19, or have an approved reasonable accommodation (based on a disability/medical condition or sincerely held religious belief) exempting them from the requirement, by December 8, 2021 (timing may vary in some states). Individuals with approved accommodations will be subject to frequent COVID-19 testing.

Boeing has implemented a new COVID-19 Vaccination Policy in Australia that requires all new Boeing Australia hires to show proof of being fully vaccinated from COVID-19, or have an approved medical exception by 3 December 2021. For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.

All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.

The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Flight Operations Generalist – License Validations to join our team in Seattle, WA . This role will assist with Customer and Boeing flight crew to ensure regulatory compliance and process license validations in order to perform flight test activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations and standard best practices to deliver informational or technical materials to others

  • Participates in the development and implementation of plans and objectives to meet departmental requirements

  • Supports the research and evaluation of organizational issues of moderate scope and complexity

  • Supports meetings and reviews to ensure information visibility is provided

  • Gathers requirements for projects of moderate scope and complexity and ensures all requirements are met

  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of department schedule and budget; assists in monitoring and tracking execution of the plan and communicates status of the plan

  • Plans and coordinates facility requirements by interfacing with focal points to satisfy the needs of the business and employees

  • Maintains and tracks training requirements

  • Assists with content development of training materials by interfacing with others

  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with FAA rules and regulations regarding pilot currency and proficiency

  • FAA Dispatcher License

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor Degree or higher

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
