Job ID 13031 Job Location United States Category Internship Overview Join AIR as a Researcher Intern with our Learning Supports program area, where we provide research and technical assistance to federal, state, and local clients, primarily focusing on the supports children need to be ready to learn in the K-12 education system. Our Learning Supports program area uses a proactive and preventative framework to support these content areas: Early childhood English learners Multi-tiered system of support Special education AIR is currently seeking Researcher Interns to join our Learning Supports team during our 2024 Summer Internship Program. Interns will support projects on topics in early childhood, English learners, special education, and multi-tiered systems of supports (MTSS) that conduct research, analyze policy, and/or provide direct technical assistance to stakeholders in the field. AIR's 2024 Summer Internship Program is designed to identify, attract, and hire the best talent that will drive creativity and innovation while enabling the organization to create a diverse and skilled talent pool. Spanning 10 - 12 weeks, AIR's paid summer program provides interns with various learning and networking opportunities that enhance their skillset and build lasting professional connections. Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations. This does not include U.S. territories. Responsibilities The responsibilities for the position include: Conduct literature reviews to support projects and proposals Assist staff in the review, identification, and development of scholarly information describing research findings Participate in the collection, analysis, and review of research and evaluation data Provide evaluative and logistical support for in-person and/or virtual events Support development of information briefs, infographics, user guides, and other products to communicate about evidence-based practices to various stakeholders Contribute to the design and populating of webpages and online resource repositories Develop spreadsheets and data bases to support project activities Analyze quantitative and qualitative research data and contribute to the reporting and interpretation of findings Qualifications Education, Knowledge, and Experience: Must be a current student pursuing a Doctoral degree in such fields as economics, psychology, so
