As a Senior Product Manager at Group14, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and commercialization of our battery materials product portfolio. Leveraging your expertise in product management, market analysis, and technical knowledge of battery materials, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and drive business growth.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

-Develop and execute strategic product roadmaps for the battery materials portfolio, aligning with overall business objectives, market trends, and customer requirements.

-Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, working closely with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to define product specifications, features, and performance metrics.

-Leverage market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable strategies for product differentiation and market positioning.

-Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to drive go-to-market strategies, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to maximize product adoption and revenue growth.

-Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their evolving needs and challenges.

-Drive new product introduction (NPI) processes, including market validation, pilot programs, and scale-up activities, ensuring timely and successful commercialization of new products.

-Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product performance, market share, and profitability, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.

-Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize product enhancements, feature requests, and customer feedback, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

-Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to battery materials and energy storage, incorporating relevant insights into product strategies and roadmap.

-Mentor and coach junior product management team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

-Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, business administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

-Proven track record of 7+ years in product management roles within the automotive, battery materials, energy storage, or related industries.

-Deep technical understanding of battery materials, chemistry, and energy storage systems, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling value propositions for customers.

-Strong market analysis skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities, segment potential, and develop targeted strategies to capture market share and drive revenue growth.

-Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic product roadmaps, managing NPI processes, and commercializing new products in a competitive market environment.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.

-Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, drive consensus, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.

-Analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets and market trends to inform decision-making.

-Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.

-Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
