Description

A global e-commerce enterprise is seeking a passionate UX Designer to join their dynamic team dedicated to enhancing their customer experience in the Japanese market. If you are an experienced designer with a deep understanding of user-centered design and a knack for building strong cross-functional relationships, we want to hear from you.

Duration: 4+ months

Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid)

Hours: 40 hours/week (10am - 7pm PST)

Pay Rate: $55-60/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Create user-centered design solutions while leveraging and contributing to an established design system.

• Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and project stakeholders for review and feedback.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing feedback on designs at various stages, suggesting appropriate solutions from the design system, and investigating requests for new solutions.

• Create documentation and design specs for delivery to engineering partners.

• Analyze user interface problems to create on-brand design solutions that align with business goals and requirements.

• Collaborate closely with our Design Systems group to create accessible designs.

• Produce user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes as needed to conceptualize and communicate interaction behaviors effectively.

• Identify areas for research and testing, collaborating with research partners to execute against these needs.

  Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of design experience.

• An available online portfolio showcasing your design work.

• Experience in designing interfaces for web and mobile ecommerce

• Experience collaborating with international stakeholders at the enterprise level

• Proficiency in Figma and delivering high-fidelity design specs and prototypes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience interpreting designs across various device surfaces and interaction patterns.

• Experience within the Japanese market

• Bachelor's degree in design and/or human-computer interaction (HCI) or equivalent experience.
