Responsibilities
The Social Worker - ED provides social work interventions for Emergency Department patients and their families, and assists in other areas of the hospital as needed after hours.

Qualifications
· Master's of Social Work from an accredited college or university is required.
· Registration with the state of Washington as either a Licensed Social Work Associate (LSWAIC), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Social Work Associate Advanced (LSWAA) or Social Work Advanced (LISW). May consider an Agency Affiliated Counselor with the expectation of active pursuit of their Social Work Licensure.
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
· Working knowledge of individual and family dynamics and the ability to perform psycho/social assessments
· Understanding of systems and how to work within systems
· Understanding of the impact and implications of disease and the course of disease
