Amazon Foundational People Data Services (FPDS) is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) to build scalable and efficient solutions for complex technical problems specifically on the Workforce Data Management Tool (WDMT) team.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

• 1+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience

Preferred Qualifications

• · Experience with designing and building large-scale web services

• · Experience with service-oriented architecture

• · Experience with supporting mission-critical, 24x7 systems

• · Proven results and a history of project delivery

• · Experience working with Agile engineering practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
