Amazon UX Designer, GenAI Cross-Portfolio GTM team, Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join the Generative AI Cross Portfolio GTM team in the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO). WWSO is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to- market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the user experience of our cutting-edge generative AI use cases and demos. You will work closely with go-to-market specialists, solutions architects, program managers and other subject matter experts to create compelling designs that delight our customers. You will be responsible for delivering demo and use case workflows, user interface designs, prototypes and final implementations.

You will be at the forefront of revolutionizing industries with cutting-edge GenAI solutions. Our dynamic team crafts compelling GenAI use cases that tackle common pain points, leveraging the full breadth of AWS services. We don't just talk about capabilities; we create high-quality, immersive demos that allow customers to experience the power of GenAI firsthand. Collaborating with creator teams across AWS, we distill insights into groundbreaking use cases. Furthermore, we maintain a central demo portal, empowering the field to rapidly access and deploy our high-fidelity GenAI demos, driving customer success and innovation.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end UX from strategy to tactical execution for high-quality executive-level solution demos and prototypes that effectively communicate the value proposition of AWS's Generative AI capabilities.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.

  • Take an active role in implementation and feature delivery

  • Develop strong understanding of target user personas and appropriately target demos

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design experience

  • 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience

  • Have an available online portfolio

  • Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience

  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to diverse audiences

  • Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
