DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform plumbing, electrical, and carpentry trades at a journeyman level for approximately 46 buildings located on the center grounds. Some key duties of the position will include installing and rebuilding pumps, valves, steam traps, pressure reducing stations, expansion joints, hot water generators, water mixing valves, and thermostats to related equipment and systems. You will also install and repair toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and all related piping; open sewer lines, water lines, sinks, drains, water closets, screen boxes, urinals, drinking fountains, and all plumbing fixtures; and install and repair waste and potable water systems, steam and condensate lines, pneumatic and all other piping and tubing systems.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (37.5-hour work week) Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license. Other Requirements: You must meet thePA residency requirement.
