Position Objective:

Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) Risk Management provides risk management support for Loans, Markets, and TTS products and manage credit exposures across mid-market enterprises (MME) and subsidiaries of CCB multinational clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Independent Risk approvals for MME portfolio in Korea with a focus on proactive problem recognition and overall portfolio management; this will entail understanding of and navigation through the CCB risk policies

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the accounts through client calling and active participation in round-table and credit review forums

• Review and provide Extending and Approving Unit level credit approvals for the CCB portfolio

• Chair Commercial Credit Committee for major/high risk credit approvals

• Manage and develop the CCB Risk Management

• Provide guidance and coaching on CCB risk policies and processes to in-country Banking, Product, CLM, and CRMS teams

• Participate in all relevant local and regional governance forums

• Understand local and US regulatory policies and directives, and ensure that CCB portfolio norms and practices are in accordance with in-country and US regulations

• Coordinate IA and FCR end-to-end reviews of the CCB portfolios and business joint with the CCB Business Head

• Proactive management of Global and Regional Stress Tests, country specific and/or event driven Rapid Portfolio Reviews and Tripwire Monitoring

• Manage the Independent Risk MCA process for CCB in country, providing inputs into the regional collation of the MCAs

• Provide Wholesale risk related inputs into the annual ICAAP process under the coordination of the CRO and Country Finance; conduct related bi-annual stress test exercise (CCAR) in conjunction with the CRO, CCB Regional and Global Risk Management.

• Forecast cost of credit together with CCB Remedial Management Unit; provide timely information to the Global Office for consolidation

• Manage expenses aligned with CCB Global

Qualifications:

• Senior Credit Officer designation

• Knowledge of operational, fraud, market, and franchise risk

• Fluency with capital markets products, leverage finance, collateral management, early warning tools, treasury, trade and transaction services

• Comprehensive understanding of technology, automobile and chemical sectors given their predominance in the CCB portfolio

• Strategic insights and sensitivity to macro and regulatory issues

• Proficient in stress testing impact of risk on portfolio value and capital required to support the business

• Independent decision making and approval skills with demonstrated ability to balance risk-returns

• Ability to manage conflict and navigate through different Risk and Business chains

• Active listening skills

• Strong analytical skills

• Efficient time management and ability to cope with an unpredictable but time sensitive deals and other requests from CCB Global offices

• Experience managing teams with different seniority levels

• Demonstrated strong ethics and integrity

• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication in Korean

• Effectively manage Korean Regulator communication

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Master's degree preferred

• 고객과의 유선 통화, 라운드테이블 회의, 여신 심사 회의에 적극 참여하여 계좌에 대한 이해 심화

• CCB 포트폴리오에 대한 Extending and Approving Unit 차원의 여신 승인 검토 및 승인 제공

자격요건

• SCO (Senior Credit Officer)로 지정된 자

• 기업 신용 리스크 뿐만 아니라, 운영, 부정(Fraud), 마켓, 프랜차이즈 리스크에 대한 지식

• 자본 시장 상품, 차입 금융, 담보 관리, 조기 경보 툴, 자금, 트레이드, 거래 서비스를 능숙하게 다루는 능력

• CCB 포트폴리오 상의 비중을 감안, 기술, 자동차, 화학 산업 부문에 대한 폭넓은 이해

• 입증된 위험-수익 균형 조정 능력 및 독립적 의사 결정, 승인 능력

• 갈등 관리 능력, 탁월한 분석 능력, 우수한 구두, 서면 커뮤니케이션 스킬, 효율적 시간 관리 능력
