Electrical Inspector

Shakopee, MN

System One is currently seeking an Electrical Inspector on a 12 month contract position located in Shakopee, MN.

Electrical Inspector Responsibilities:

• Project Overview, deliverables

• Supporting the installation of 3 Wartsila delay units inside of a Pre-engineered metal building.

• Will be doing 400 and 480 volt transmission tie-ins.

• Responsible for reviewing the project drawings, project specs and familiarize themselves with it.

• Ensuring that all the electrical components out in the field are being installed per draw in spec as required.

  Electrical Inspector Requirements:

• Familiar with building wiring, power distribution systems and transmission tie-ins.

• Solid knowledge of best practice so that they can spot any deficiencies.

• Proficient with PDF/Adobe Pro, Bluebeam and/or other electric drawing management viewing tools.

• 5-7 years of previous electrical inspection experience in addition to hands on technical knowledge to be able to understand right/wrong during contractor electrical oversight.

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from site.

• Strong electrical knowledge with 4160 distribution, 480 volt motor systems, 13.8 transmission distribution, 480 volt motor control and electrical distribution.

• Qualified in electrical, also looking for experience with logistic side of things, scheduling of deliveries, documenting, etc.

  Pay rate: $55-60/hr
