The BD Manager for Cytiva is responsible building the new biology business in China include CEVEC and PINE business align with global trend. The BDM to focus on VV workflow key customer to green field our biology service business and build long term strategy direction for us.

This position is part of the BD Manager located in Shanghai . At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • According to the company's strategic planning and objectives, develop and implement the annual CEVEC & PINE business strategy and plan. Identify target customer groups through market research and analysis, deeply explore their needs, and provide customized solutions.

  • Be responsible for the new model’s promotion, planning promotional strategies, coordinating internal and external resources, and driving sales realization of the product in designated regions.

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with partners, including initial contact with potential customers, business negotiations, contract signing, and subsequent relationship maintenance, to ensure the smooth progress of cooperation between both parties.

  • Determines alternative business model(es) for implementation by Sales. Performs lifecycle management of the offerings, from identification of new opportunities through commercialization & active sales, and discontinuation

  • Track and analyze market trends, collect, and provide timely feedback on industry information, and provide reference for the company's decision-making.

  • Coordinate cooperation between various departments within the company to ensure the smooth implementation and completion of projects.

The essential requirements of the job include.

  • Education Background: Master's degree or above in Biotechnology, Life sciences or relevant field.

  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of BD or related field experience, with keen insight into market trends and customer needs.

  • Skills Required: Possess excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and project management capabilities, able to independently carry out business development work; Familiar with market dynamics and competitors, able to formulate effective business strategies; Possess outstanding team collaboration and leadership skills, able to lead a team to achieve targets.

  • Language Requirement: Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English, able to conduct cross-cultural communication and business negotiations.

  • Possess a high sense of responsibility and professionalism, able to withstand high-intensity work pressure.

  • Possess an innovative spirit and open mindset, able to continuously explore new business models and cooperation opportunities.

This position requires candidates with rich industry experience and sharp market insights, able to formulate and execute effective business development strategies based on the company's strategy to drive business growth and market share expansion. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication and team collaboration skills, able to establish good relationships with internal and external partners to jointly promote the smooth implementation and completion of projects.
