Responsibilities

Position Summary: This position provides social work, case management & counseling services to patients & families experiencing psychiatric illness & or substance abuse issues; orients families/patients to the treatment program while encouraging active participation. This is a PRN position to cover Weekend Days at our Behavioral Health Center in Sherman, TX.

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Qualifications

• Licensed as a qualified mental health professional-LMSW, LCSW, LPC or LPC-A

• Must secure healthcare provider CPR within 30 days of employment

• Ability to identify & address the special needs of the psychiatric patient & addictive disease patient.

• Must be able to identify & address the special needs of patients in the adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups
