AnthroMed Education 2024-25 Speech-Language Pathologist in Shorewood, Illinois

Speech Language Pathologist (Clinical Fellow encouraged to apply!)

Location: Shorewood, IL

Position Type: Full-time, 2024-25 School Year

AnthroMed Education is in search of dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologists to join our dynamic team for the upcoming school year. This exceptional opportunity involves delivering speech and language services to 7th and 8th-grade students within a middle school in Shorewood, IL. As an essential part of AnthroMed Education, you'll have the opportunity to positively influence students' lives while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students in a dedicated setting.

  • Collaborate with a diverse team to devise and execute personalized treatment plans.

  • Employ Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) techniques and tools to enhance communication skills (AAC experience highly desirable).

  • Support students in grades 7 and 8.

  • Engage in continuous professional development activities to remain abreast of the latest speech-language pathology practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • IL PEL required. (Currently possess or can obtain before the start of the 2024-25 school year)

  • Hold or be eligible for licensure in Illinois. 

  • Prior experience with AAC techniques is highly preferred.

  • Exhibit strong communication and teamwork abilities.
