ADP APAC Regional Communication Manager in Singapore, Singapore
JOB PURPOSE:
A key role responsible for defining and delivering effective and consistent communications across all the Asia Pacific region for ADP. This role will work closely with APAC SLT and country GMs to create, drive and maintain compelling internal communications programmes which are aligned to existing strategies and ADP corporate standards, branding and processes. Reports into Sr, Director Communication – ESI with dotted line into VP, HR APAC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with the SVP APAC for leadership communication support – content development for ‘state of the business’ updates, ghost writing, talking points as required.
Partner with the VP HR for the region to deliver local campaigns and deliver/amplify ESI, Corporate campaigns and elevate associates’ engagement
Partner with the VP, Client Services to deliver client communications to support APAC service key indicatives and activities
Work closely with senior leaders in ADP APAC to help drive effective communications to associates that contribute to delivering business outcomes
eate communications that enable associates to feel connected to business objectives and understand their role in achieving these, giving a sense of value to the work they do.
Support change management initiatives through effective communication of organizational transformations and fostering employee engagement.
Collaborate with the HR team in developing and maintaining a communication calendar, and subsequently communicate it to the managers and associates, focusing on leadership training, managers’/associates’ tasks reminders and related initiatives.
Support the business in delivering its goals and objectives through informing, inspiring and engaging associates via a blend of communication approaches and core channels.
Develop and execute a local communication plan for APAC aligned to the wider ESI internal communications strategy, working with ADP Corporate communications, HR and senior leadership teams as necessary
Ensure that communications are planned, messaged and delivered in an engaging way that promotes a “One ADP” culture and aligned to the ESI IC strategy
Adaption and translation of messaging / tone of voice to local culture and governance processes – including managing translations for communication products where appropriate
Monitor and measure effectiveness of communications using the ESI KPI/scorecard
Manage all internal communications channels, introducing new channels as needed
Support key business events and leadership updates providing consultative and practical support for webinars / events / communications / employer brand social media
Coordinate and manage external suppliers as appropriate
Support and advise managers and leaders with expert internal communications guidance, enabling them to be effective communicators
Coach key stakeholders as required on communication matters e.g. presentation style and use of language
Advise and engage as required on business projects and initiatives providing effective communications support
Apply ADP communications governance, brand values and visual identity guidelines to all communications
informed and insightful messages to the business with maximum impact
Deliver against objectives, deadlines and within agreed budgets
Work as part of the communication recipe teams to contribute to ESI wide projects and deliverables as agreed
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Intermediate with professional qualifications in Communications, Marketing or similar
Experience of working in a multi-country, corporate environment
3-5 years’ experience in internal communications working with senior stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in managing large scale or complex communication initiatives
Experience using internal communications software
Experience with wide range of digital communications channels
Experience of PoliteMail internal communications software or similar – an advantage
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
Comfortable with working with line manager and team members in Central European Time Zone
Strong communicator and presenter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Experience of change communications or communications within an M&A environment an advantage
Self starter – able to drive and own projects autonomously
Highly organised, with strong project management and time management skills
High attention to detail with strong proof reading, editing, layout and design skills
Highly creative and innovative, able to think laterally
Proactive with hands-on approach
Independent, self-motivated and enthusiastic
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a matrix environment
Solutions orientated
Ability to deliver data metrics and analysis
Ability to interact with and influence all levels of management, including senior stakeholders and Executive Leadership team
Commercial awareness, ability to work against a budget and tight time frames
