Purpose of the position
To lead the parts team, formulate/develop sales plan, implement, and monitor to achieve our objectives and budget.
Roll our sales programs, initiatives, activities and direct selling within the S.SEA region to increase market coverage and market share.
To oversee the the parts sale processing and maximising the MyParts online platform to increase productivity and sales concurrently.
To provide full administrative support to dealers who are our extended arms to increase our market share and parts sales.To lead and to support the Kalmar Service Department, PTS, and MEQ sales as well.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Sales (Negotiate PARTS sales) with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
Prepare parts sales forecasts and budgets, monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team.
Contribute to the formulate/development and implementation of parts sales plan, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility through the provision of market intelligence and customer information and by understanding market trends.
Oversee the timely process of supplier invoices in Basware before month end closing.
Handling of parts sales, parts tender, and parts contract direct with dealers, and customers.
Attend to customer queries, complaints and feedback pertaining to invoicing related issues.
Responsible for meeting direct selling with customers on parts sales, negotiation, offering/selling, processing and payment collection.
Act as a liaison between functions relating to parts with HQ and our parts team.
Provide administrative support on parts to the dealers, service team and warranty team.
Focus on digitalization parts sales and kalmar insight on parts.
Oversee the parts sales transaction and processing
What you’ll need to succeed
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Business or Engineering
Experience
- Related experience in Parts Sales and Services within the machinery or equipment industries
Skill Requirements
Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with our clients
Good knowledge of MS Excel (or any other ERP system).
SAP knowledge is a plus.Skills & Competencies
Self-motivated and seeking high standards
Resourcefulness and implementation of action skills
Excellent customer relationship management skills
Strong technical background (mechanical or electrical).
