Continental Security & Privacy Governance Officer in Singapore, Singapore

Cybersecurity is the major enabler nowadays to ensure safe automotive products and to allow new technologies such as autonomous driving. As a team member of the Research and Development organization of the Business Area User Experience, you will be globally responsible to enable, guide, and steer product cybersecurity and privacy holistically along the entire value chain to ensure compliance and to improve overall maturity of the organization both on organizational and technical level. You will be responsible for providing insights and recommendations to help drive key business decisions without compensating for product security.

  • Ensuring compliance and conformity to regulations, international standards, and customer requirements for automotive User Experience products and services

  • Evaluation of the product cybersecurity risk management process and adding risk-based thinking and management to the process

  • Establishing the state-of-the-art for product cybersecurity and privacy and providing guidelines

  • Continuous improvement of our Cybersecurity Management System for Continental’s automotive User Experience products and services

  • Leading of cross-organizational initiatives for the exchange of knowledge and solution building for a more mature Cybersecurity Management System

  • Driving performance evaluation of our Cybersecurity Management System in terms of metrics, KPIs and assessments

  • Living a Cybersecurity Culture as a role model and provision of guidelines, trainings and awareness of product cybersecurity and privacy

  • Supporting technical compliance management by providing Product Cybersecurity and Privacy expertise

  • Supporting colleagues world-wide by consulting during the roll-out of processes within the Business Area User Experience

  • Degree/Masters in Cybersecurity, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related discipline, preferably with specialization or related experience in development of device drivers for embedded systems

  • Profound experience in the field of Cybersecurity or Privacy

  • Eager to be part of Continental’s growing community of Cybersecurity & Privacy Experts

  • Advanced understanding of automotive engineering processes and product lifecycle and State of the Art cybersecurity countermeasures of benefit

  • Knowledge of the respective regulations, standards and guidelines like UN R155/R156, NIST, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO PAS 5112, ISO/IEC 27001, GB/T, OWASP SAMM and their implementation are of advantages
