If so, a position at the Leidos Air Traffic Management (ATM) Research and Collaboration Centre in Singapore will allow you to research, develop, and implement cutting-edge technology that will change the world and nature of air traffic management.

Leidos is seeking a Software Development Engineer who will be part of a team taking the next step to expand its footprint in the Asia Pacific region. Establishing the Leidos Air Traffic Management (ATM) Research and Collaboration Centre in Singapore enables Leidos to collaborate with regional research institutes and partners to explore and develop new concepts to optimize air traffic management and enhance safety.

• Work with a team of driven and forward-thinking individuals in Singapore and the United States

To excel in this position, Leidos is searching for an applicant that possesses knowledge in the following:

• Strong background in Java, JEE, C, C++ development projects on Linux and OS platforms

• Experience with PathFinder and Automation scripting.

• Agile development environments that will range from prototype and demonstrations to formal code development and deployment of software.

• A self-starter problem solver – creating new and innovative approaches to solving complex problems our customers face.

• Effective communicator – you will be communicating with customers, systems engineers, and colleagues; being able to express thoughts, ideas, and direction in a clear, concise manner is required.

• Mission Focused – while software development will be the focus, applicants need to be willing to jump between engineering disciplines to support the program objectives including supporting system and integration activities.

In addition, the following skills will be invaluable:

• Air Traffic Flow Management principles including surface, arrival and departure management, flow and sequence management; knowledge regarding Asia Pacific strategies.

• Air Traffic Management principles such as conflict detection and avoidance, Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM), Trajectory Prediction

Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelors of Science degree and a minimum of 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.

• Singapore citizenship

• Air Traffic Management domain experience desired
