Position Purpose: Working with little or no supervision, the Precision Farming Specialist will apply geospatial technologies, including geographic information systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS), to agricultural production. The Precision Farming Specialist will work with the AFS Support Center, other AFS team members, whole goods sales, service shop, and customers directly. Activities include to installation, training, troubleshooting, and supporting all aspects of technology, including guidance systems, mapping, autopilot, monitors, and service tools. This person is also responsible for providing excellent customer service and for completing general duties to support the dealership.
