Foundry Supervisor:

Job Description:

• The role involves leading a team of 5-6 foundry production employees, scheduling work, assigning daily duties, and ensuring tasks are completed.

• Responsibilities include computer work for tracking production, parts ordering, and communicating with suppliers and customers.

• The supervisor will oversee the initial phases of aluminum foundry operations, including melting aluminum, mold making, core room, shake out, and cutting room.

• Experience with a Robert Cinto 16x20 mold making machine is a plus.

• The role requires overseeing the melting room and sand quality, monitoring alloy changes, and ensuring adherence to safety requirements while driving team productivity and building a solid culture.

Work Environment:

The position is based in an aluminum foundry, working in a separate building where molds are made. The process involves repetitive and heavy lifting, and the environment can be dirty, dusty, and hot. The small department requires the ability to work somewhat independently.
