$25-30hr| Monday-Friday | 6am-3pm| South gate, CA

Must be open to working on weekends and overtime

MUST HAVE EXPERINCE IN

Diagnosing transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.

Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction and make required repairs.

Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.

Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards

Job Description:

Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

Disassembles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts

Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.

Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments

Repairs or replaces defective parts in hydraulic equipment such as valves, motors, cylinders and pumps; conditioning equipment such as grinding and abrasive blast machines; mobile hydraulic equipment; and other plant equipment as designated by supervisor.

Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.

Lubricates and cleans parts.

Starts devices to test their performance.

Daily inspection and record keeping of various pieces of plant equipment.
