Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Benefits Administrator in South Portland, Maine. This role primarily involves managing and executing benefit functions within a team setting. The successful candidate will be stationed on-site and will be part of a three-person team, providing services five days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage various benefit functions within the organization

• Carry out meticulous data entry tasks related to benefits administration

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of insurance-related matters

• Maintain up-to-date and precise records of all benefit-related activities

• Respond promptly and effectively to inquiries regarding benefit provisions

• Monitor and update the Munis system to ensure accurate benefits administration

• Collaborate with a small team to ensure smooth operation of benefits administration

• Develop strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of benefits administration. Requirements

• Proficient in managing Benefit Functions

• Experience in Data Entry tasks

• Knowledge of Insurance policies and procedures

• Ability to work with a team and independently when required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Ability to interpret and explain benefits policies and procedures to employees

• Experience in benefits administration software would be a plus

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to benefits and insurance.
